Non- (無符)

Talismans promise protection and blessings. Carried to heal, attract good fortune, or ward off bad luck.

Non- (無符) does none of that. A talisman assumes a self worth protecting. These are mirrors instead. The self was never the thing that needed protecting, because there was no self to protect, and nothing to protect it from.

無我 (Wúwǒ / Muga) — Non-self

無為 (Wúwéi / Mui) — Non-effort

無事 (Wúshì / Buji) — Non-incident

無心 (Wúxīn / Mushin) — Non-mind

無聊 (Wúliáo / Muryō) — Non-purpose
