For UNIQLO Manila’s 1st anniversary, we created a visual identity and concept inspired by the number one. As a Roman numeral, ‘1’, can be rotated to resemble the Japanese character for one, ‘一’. When many ‘ones’ come together, they form a series of celebratory motifs to reflect the values that make UNIQLO Manila unique. The campaign’s art direction builds on the existing flagship store logo that we designed for the opening and adds the graphical line from both Roman numeral and Japanese character. Anonymous was the creative and marketing lead for this campaign.
