“A line is a dot that went for a walk.” — Paul Klee
We’re captivated by Paul Klee’s way of seeing.
In the spirit of imagination and storytelling, we take the dot for a walk. We play with perspectives—with scale, placement, movement, and composition—and find joy in discovering new points of view.
These artworks, Dots and Lines, are hand printed on individual tenugui by artisans in Tokyo using the chusen dye technique.

A tenugui is a simple cloth with endless possibilities. Its sarashi cotton breathes, dries quickly, and softens over time, making it as ideal as a scarf or headband, wall art or tea towel. It is good for wrapping the lunchbox, the wine, or the gift–in itself, it is a gift that keeps giving.
Each tenugui comes with a mini-zine telling the story of how the tenugui is made, used, and cared for, as well as a digital wallpaper of the artwork for your devices.
